Where I will be and where you can be too
For this week’s newsletter I have two suggestions for your weekend if you are in Rotterdam or The Netherlands:
Outslide Looking In — 02 JUL - 07 AUG
You’re already probably aware that I’ll be showcasing some of my work in a group exhibition alongside other members of Mesh Print Club. The opening will be this Saturday, the 2nd of July, and it will happen in an old office building at Heer Bokelweg 121.
To be honest, when we first entered the space, it felt huge and we wondered how we would be able to fill it with since screenprints. In the end, we managed to gather around 30 Mesh members, had to open the second floor and the space is really starting to come together! Here are some photos of the before and after:
Pop-up market at Metropolis Festival — 03 JUL
Apart from the exhibition on Saturday, I’ll also be participating in a pop-up market during Metropolis Festival. Metropolis is a free one-day music festival in Rotterdam’s Zuiderpark with an quite good line-up! Here is the festival poster:
